I was
introduced to Aughton Church and the Aske story a few years ago by Tim Porter, a 
very talented musician and historian. I will let the site tell the story should you have the interest but who would have ever thought it - Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on the same side!
If you live in or around the Cotswolds and have an interest in history Tim runs quite a few courses (search for Tim Porter) during the year. From personal experience I can assure you they are extremely good.
