I have had a passion for the great outdoors for as long as I can remember and in my younger days I spent my spare time caving or climbing. Later I got into micro lights and para motoring but couldn't really do it justice due to a lack of time. A friend bought me a fly rod as a thank you for sorting out his company network, it's cost me a small fortune ever since!

The guild was established in 1967 and provides, via a branch network, tuition in the art of 
fly tying. A few years ago the guild was struggling technically and since then have gained an ecommerce capability, forum and new web site.
